On Friday July 3, we will be celebrating 150 years of quality public education at Cessnock Public School with our "Back To Cessnock" day. We invite students, ex-students and families past and present to join us for this celebration. The day begins at 10am with a combined K-6 assembly. Following this, take a step back in time with our friendly staff and students as we participate in a range of old fashioned school activities throughout the day.
Our library will be open all day with morning tea for visitors and a display of school memorabilia. Lunch on the day will be a pre ordered meal deal or a sausage sizzle on the day.
We look forward to your company on this wonderful occasion.
Our school lies on the historic meeting grounds of three proud Aboriginal Nations - the Awabakal, the Darkinjung and the Wonnarua. We acknowledge the traditional owners of the land and pay our respects to Elders past and present.
