Wallaby fever has hit Cessnock Public School following a visit from some members of the Australian Rugby Union and some very special silverwear.
Matt, Matt and Chris from the ARU spent some time at the school last Thursday with the Bledisloe Cup. Students were given some history about the cup, which is contested each year by Australia and New Zealand. Students were then taken through some rugby drills during the lunch break.
It was a fantastic experience for the students who were then given a range of Wallabies posters, stickers and wristbands.
Thanks again to Matt, Matt and Chris for the great day.

Our school lies on the historic meeting grounds of three proud Aboriginal Nations - the Awabakal, the Darkinjung and the Wonnarua. We acknowledge the traditional owners of the land and pay our respects to Elders past and present.
